FANTASIA & MYSTERE

a far away realm. home to places like the enchanted forest and elf havens, fantasia possesses a medieval-esque fantasy setting. there is no technology here and people still use horses and their own feet to travel. humans exist, dwelling in small villages, though their numbers are rather scant. mystere is the southern part of fantasia that remains shrouded in shadow like the dark side of the moon. it's where the werewolves and vampires originate from. the drows, the dark kin of the elves, also come from this part of the land.

ABOVE & BELOW

the heavens and underworld. angels are created in the heavens, but sometimes these pure souls are sent down to earth with the job of 'guardian' to help guide the mortals. others may simply venture down out of curiosity. the underworld, on the other hand, is where demons are spawned. every so often, one may escape and wreak havoc on the world in between. while many demons are exterminated as vermin, the academy has been known for trying to tame some of the less powerful beasts.

THE MODERN WORLD

the modern world is the same as the one you and i know. there is technology and cars and it's terrorized by media icons like nicki minaj. this is where majority of the humans come from. when humans are discovered to have gifts, a messenger is sent to retrieve them under the hoax that they will be attending a normal academy like any other, given a false location before they are risked away through a portal. some might see this as kidnapping, but it's all for a good cause.

QUICK BACKSTORY

once upon a time, mortals and magic folk lived together in peace. the great wars separated them, and the humans were banished to the realm of earth, having long forgotten their magical heritage. small villages of humans remain within in fantasia, but they are a rarity. avalon academy's goal is to bring together unordinary folk from all the realms and unite what once was.
