friends Alistair loves friends, though he really sucks at making them. He enjoys the company of others but prefers to keep to himself nevertheless. He's not a very outgoing individual, but when he is having conversation it is usually pleasant and polite. He is a very articulate person who loves to have intelligent discussion and to learn from others, if they're willing to teach him. He avoids those who are loud and unruly like the plague, so don't expect to befriend him if that's how you are. That being said, he does need some friends that are a little more animate than he. Those are what I expect for him to find.enemies It can be a little hard to convince Alistair that he should dislike you, but once this is accomplished he usually holds a grudge. A simple apology usually settles any grudges he may hold, however; he is a very forgiving person. The boy has a distinct distaste for witches and warlocks, as he's yet to forgive his parents. He also tends to dislike those who irritate him and betray his trust, as many others would. He tries to keep his relations generally peacefully, even if he dislikes someone.
lovers
When it comes to love, Alistair is a very sensitive individual. He cares deeply about many people, but most people would be little more than a good friend. The white haired boy is very timid when it comes to talking to those that he feels are attractive, often blushing. The act of blushing makes him very uncomfortable and he hates feeling uncomfortable, so if he likes someone romantically he'll usually distance himself. Afterward, he'll turn to leaving little thoughtful gifts until they think he's a creep. This has never not happened, but if it didn't happen, he probably wouldn't know what to do. He doesn't really know how to handle romance and really hates it when people try to set him up with others, as he always feels awkward and gets grumpy.

I was thinking that it'd be fun to have Apollo and Alistair meet! They're both wizards, but oh gosh, are they ever opposites. I think Apollo might drive him a little crazy;;; but I was hoping that maybe Alistair could be a tutor of sorts for him? See, Apollo is— a terrible wizard to put it bluntly LOL. He comes from the modern world, so he's only just beginning to learn how to control his abilities just a noob with a wand and could use a little guidance in the matter. Apollo isn't totally unruly, but he's definitely more animated and energetic, so maybe he could provide a good balance to Alistair's calmer disposition? I was actually hoping to find some mellower students that Apollo could harass with his puppy dog charm. He acts like a derp, but if Alistair could put up with him he'd be blessed with those intelligent conversations he wants too, since Apollo is actually pretty philosophical under his trollish guise. :'D

a teacher, you say? I could see Alistair being curious as to what the modern world is like, so he'd probably be willing to tutor Apollo if he'll share some information. As for the relations between the two, I have no doubt that there will occasionally be irritation with Apollo, but I'm sure Alistair will try his hardest to enjoy the man's company. I'm sure the less experienced wizard would bring a certain cheerfulness to his life with a little perseverance as well. Depending on how he is harassed by the puppy dog charm, he might like the attention! It's not like he has many people asking to be taught. I like this idea and I'm totally down for a thread if you are!

oh man, yeah, Apollo will have a bunch of things to tell Alistair about the modern world. he might be a brat though and make stuff up sometimes. "WE HAVE FLYING CARS" "what's a car?" "...." anyways, yep, I'm down for a thread! I was thinking for a starter, maybe Alistair could witness a spell terribly backfire on Apollo or something. you know, come to check if he's alive.. LOL;;; otherwise, he could be one of Apollo's prank targets, but I have a feeling that he may not be so inclined to teach someone who 'accidentally' made bunny ears sprout on his head. Lemme know which you like better (or if you've got another idea) and I can start a thread asap.

a teacher, you say? I think I'll have to opt for the first option because it's hilarious. Wouldn't want Alistair to be embarrassed by those bunny ears, right? So the spell-gone-wrong approach seems to be a better option, especially because Alistair will then be concerned for Apollo's safety and would have even more motivation to teach him about proper spell-casting and whatnot. If that sounds good, feel free to start! :3

hey so these two are both spellcasters from Fantasia and they're in Glenice! :> Personality-wise I think they would get along pretty well as friends or at least acquaintances/classroom pals. Since they're both keen on keeping to themselves it might be hard for them to get to know each other initially, but I could see them having each other as study buddies? He might recognize her last name and she might recognize his and be surprised that he's not like... evil or w/e? I don't know, might be fun. :> @alistair |

morgan + blackbourne = ? Alistair would probably recognize Lucia's last name and would be quite keen on getting to see her abilities, even if it is in secret. Therefore, he would be very fond of the idea of being study buddies. I think they would do well studying together, at least when it comes to keeping on track. If Lucia was willing to press a little out of Alistair to get to know him better, Alistair would probably do the same to her. So I think they could potentially become legitimate study buddies who form a pretty sweet alliance?

Sounds great to me! They could maybe meet in like... a class, or something? Or see each other training in the practice field and one of them awkwardly approaches? Lucia is introverted but she's not against approaching others if she thinks they seem nice, and Alistair seems approachable enough. Lemme know if you wanna get them to run into each other somewhere, I can start one~ |

morgan + blackbourne = ? I can think of a reason to stick Alistair almost anywhere, so wherever you feel comfortable starting a thread would be fine by me. He could definitely be in a class with Lucia, they could collide between classes or after class, or he could always be out in the practice field working out some kinks. Alistair wouldn't be against approaching Lucia, either, though knowing me it would probably be a little more dramatic than just walking up to her and talking.
