HISTORY

The Morgan family had always been prominent in the sorcerer world of Fantasia, for good and bad. Their reputation was one of great skill and expertise, and so it was expected that Lucia would follow in her family's footsteps and be nothing less than extremely talented. It wasn't an easy shadow to live in, with both of her parents expecting great things of her and her siblings, but she had no choice but to play along. It wasn't that horrible - her own spellcasting abilities were coming along well enough, and she enjoyed it, but the pressure had always made it more of a chore than it needed to be. 

Her mother in particular was a skilled mage, raining down fire and ice and lightning with minimal effort. Her father, a more textbook wizard, always cast his spells with full words and never combined them. They were a powerful couple, but perhaps not a happy one. When life was all about skill and power and reputation, there was never much time for love. And although Lucia's kind and friendly demeanor had always attracted others, introducing various boyfriends to her parents over the years had only ever ended up with them running away scared. Something along the lines of, "wait, you're a Morgan?"

Just recently Lucia enrolled herself in Avalon Academy, for several reasons. Not only would it give her some time away from her family, but it would let them believe she was studying hard to improve herself, which was partly true. Of course, it would also provide an opportunity to meet others - those who weren't just sorcerers - and also to learn about other disciplines. Escaping her high-pressure family life seemed like the only way to grow as a person. 

POWER

Spellcaster. Lucia is a mage. As she has spent much of her life training from a young age, she no longer requires a wand, but uses hand gestures or phrases to cast spells. In particular she enjoys creating her own spells, often by combining others together, though they are rarely very useful and often more aesthetic. Spells that cover a wider area are her specialty, such as slowing spells for enemies, or using ice. Unlike her mother who called upon the elements to accomplish certain effects, Lucia's spells are more alike her father's and are put into effect by the use of sharp words and strong willpower.
